Irony Lost On No One
Ultimate Method actor? I think not. Years ago, David Duchovny admitted to having a sex addiction. He said it cost him a long-term relationship at the time.
I just can't get over how crazy it is that his most successful work since the X-Files is a role like Hank Moody.

I made this for dinner last night - served with angel hair pasta and brussel sprouts. SO good!

I thought her speech last night was excellent. It's hard for me to forget all the bitchy things she said about Barack Obama during her campaign, but this speech was exactly what I had hoped for. Hopefully her hardcore supporters will think twice now before voting for McCain. According to Randi Rhodes though, there's a group out there (PUMA) claiming to be Hillary supporters that will vote for McCain (there's speculation they're actually Republicans). How f-ed up is that?

This is one of the most touching photos I've ever seen. What intense love and trust are seen here. This photo is by Sam Javanrouh and I spotted it on Laura Crow Miller's blog. I just had to share it.

Gwen Stefani is such a beauty. That necklace is amazing. When is she going to give birth already?????? It seems like she's been pregnant FOREVER.

Too Cute
I don't think I've ever seen cuter kids' clothes in my life. If my kids were still little enough, I would totally buy some items from this website.

I stayed up late last night watching these girls. I didn't get to see the medals being awarded, but it was great to hear about it this morning. I think Nastia got the shaft on a couple of her scores, (She is SO graceful and beautiful to watch) but it all ended well. Yay U.S.A.!

A Great Documentary
My husband and I watched this Martin Scorsese film over the weekend. It is truly amazing to see these four together still and to watch Mick Jagger move the way he always has. Concert footage from 2006 is mixed with footage from the sixties and seventies. Mick was so cute back in the day.
One of my favorite parts of the concert footage was watching Keith Richards help Charlie Watts step off his drumming platform. That was the only scene that reminded me of their aging. Other than that, they still blow me away.

Amazing Abode
I just love this house. We live in an early 1960's tract home, so houses from this era really appeal to me. This house is a multi-level though with beautiful wood ceilings and amazing views. I like the way most of the cabinets, counters and sinks are original. With all the great furniture and other decor, it's like going back in time.

Must...............Vent..........................
I apologize to all the Elisabeth Hasselbeck fans out there, but the woman makes me want to throw a bowling ball through my television.
